A message from Deb Dagnan, Chair

August 5, 2026
Hello, PCDC friends!
I hope you all are enjoying the wonderful summer weather we’ve had, spending time with family and friends and making memories here in our beautiful part of the state!

Although it’s still summertime, we need to remember we only have 90 days to do all we can to make sure Susan Collins is done in the United States Senate. It’s time for someone new who takes seriously the problems Mainers face every day; not the wealthy but those of us struggling to make ends meet with higher grocery prices, gas prices, housing costs, and healthcare that is too expensive and too hard to find!

I hope to see you at our next meeting on Saturday, August 15th at 10 a.m. at our new office at 1 North Street in Dover-Foxcroft (used to be the florist). The agenda is attached. The meeting will also be available via Zoom, and Sue will send the link. [Contact Sue for the agenda.]

PLEASE NOTE: The office is now open on Wednesdays and Saturday mornings from 10-
12, and you can stop by and pick up PINGREE and DUNLAP lawn signs, etc. We are
still waiting on Troy Jackson swag. As we get closer to election day, our office hours
will expand, and we will be looking for folks to be at the office during these times.

We need volunteers to tend the PCDC booth at the Piscataquis Valley Fair (Aug 27-30,
Thursday to Sunday) for 3-hour shifts from 10am to 9pm. If you can help out, please let
me know (749-5045).

Also, for anyone interested, there is a rally on the Dover-Foxcroft bridge this Sunday,
August 9th, from 1-2 p.m.

In solidarity,
Deb Dagnan, Chair
