5 Questions To Ask Susan Collins

Now that Susan Collins has enjoyed a 5-week vacation and is raising money from big donors at exclusive fundraisers, here are 5 questions you could ask her if you see her at a town meeting or other public event:

1.      As she considers the SAVE Act: Has she taken any steps to help approximately American 69M women (more than 300,000 Maine women) whose name does not match their birth certificate eg, having changed their name upon being married?

2.     Since she voted for $70M additional funds for ICE, does that money still includes body camera as well as shock gloves detailed in the Bangor Daily News (8/12/26). If so, where are they?

3.     Does that additional funding include any training for ICE officers who will receive these shock gloves?

4.     It is now more than 6 months since the start of US air strikes in Iran. Can she explain her position regarding the original goals—have they been met?
a.     Can the US sustain this activity?
b.    Does she believe this “incursion” will end in 2026 or 2027?

5.     Does she believe Congress has appropriately fulfilled Constitutional duty in authorizing use of force (war in Iran)?
