DOVER-FOXCROFT — No Kings protests took place across the nation on March 28 at 3,300 locations involving eight million participants. In Dover-Foxcroft 120 concerned citizens lined both sides of the East Main Street bridge to express their support for democracy, opposition to the war against Iran and other practices of the Trump administration including ICE arrests of immigrant neighbors living and working in our communities.
In spite of the cold temperatures and brisk wind on the bridge, this was one of the largest demonstrations since the second Trump administration took office. Other local demonstrations were held in Greenville and Dexter.
